Jenny Kroik was born in 1984 in Russia, St. Petersburg. She moved to Israel with her family in 1989 and then to the States in 2002. In 2007 she graduated from the Art Institute of Boston with a BFA in Illustration and Animation, then continued to study at the University of Oregon, where she received her MFA in Painting in 2010. She continues to work as a Career Instructor in the University of Oregon’s Department of Art, and has been teaching classes in painting, drawing, watercolor, children's book illustration and more. She also teaches classes in the Book Arts Series for the Continuing Education program at the University of Oregon.
Jenny exhibits her work in the Northwest and around the country in solo and group exhibitions, and gives public demonstrations in watercolor technique around the United States. For the past ten years, she has also been working as a freelance illustrator and animator.
